# Four-Stage Wallpaper Switch Calm Redesign
After several visual reviews, the 176×44 four-stage oval switch at the upper right has been rebuilt as a calmer, lighter control. Its automatic schedule and manual override until the next real time boundary are unchanged.
## Calmer Image2 visuals
- Image2 regenerated minimal morning, day, dusk, and night color fields. The whole track always presents only the current theme.
- Unselected positions no longer use stark blank dots. They use four distinct, low-contrast embossed semantic stops, while the active position keeps its matching celestial subject.
- Each theme keeps exactly one accent layer. Layered scenery, planets, dense decoration, and staggered entrances have been removed.
## Smooth, interruptible switching
The selector moves only with transform and can be interrupted from its current frame and retargeted to the latest choice during rapid input. The full scene uses a short crossfade, and only the current theme's single accent enters; there is no multi-layer stagger to wait for.
## Keyboard and performance fallbacks
Keyboard input and the site's motion-off mode commit the target state immediately. Reduced motion keeps only a short opacity change. The low-performance and Save-Data modes skip the accent while retaining the complete color field, semantic stops, and time-switching behavior.
