# Desktop Taskbar Active-State Polish
The active window button in the PC taskbar no longer uses a yellow bottom edge, yellow outer outline, or persistent glow. The desktop now reads more calmly while retaining its blue Neo-XP hierarchy.
## What changed
- The current task keeps its blue pressed background, inset edge, and clear text contrast, so the active window remains obvious.
- The focus-visible ring still appears for keyboard navigation, preserving an explicit accessible focus indicator.
- The mobile Dock selection surface, scrolling, and touch geometry are unchanged.
Home and Knowledge were checked with the desktop taskbar, and the public cache version was advanced so browsers do not retain the old yellow glow.
