# Site-wide UI and Motion Polish
This release completes 30 focused improvements across visual quality, UI structure, and motion feedback while retaining the Windows XP, Pixel Art, and Y2K desktop language.
## Typography and layout
- Chat now allocates title, room controls, message history, composer, and footer space correctly at 1280×720, short portrait screens, and mobile landscape, so the composer remains visible.
- Video covers use a true 16:9 frame and failure actions stay inside each card. Welcome shortcuts, recent updates, Knowledge reading width, and Resources metadata now have clearer hierarchy.
- Mobile Welcome keeps one scroll owner, article Appbars retain route identity, and Dock type, touch geometry, and landscape alignment are recalibrated.
## Interaction and states
- Video covers are native buttons with keyboard support. Loading, empty, and error states share one structure; retry restores focus, and stale iframe timers can no longer replace a newer result.
- Disabled controls no longer animate as pressed. Desktop CTAs gain visible hover feedback, while active taskbar items, system-message contrast, and subtle route accents are easier to distinguish.
## Motion preferences
- Maximize and restore use real before-and-after geometry, with consistent close and minimize direction.
- Reduced and off motion also stop Dock smoothing, skeleton loops, and hard-coded transitions. Theme changes no longer create a redundant full-page snapshot.
The pass rechecks Home and every App across desktop, narrow portrait, short-screen, and mobile-landscape layouts while preserving Chinese, English, and Japanese content and 44px touch targets.
