On-Demand Routes and Quick Transfer
Home now starts with about 8 KB of five update summaries; five route modules and four heavy styles load once on first entry, while Quick Transfer loads its full chain only after a real CTA click with retry-safe, leave-safe initialization.
# On-Demand Routes and Quick Transfer
This release moves non-Home work and Quick Transfer behind real demand boundaries while preserving the public site's Windows XP, Pixel Art, and Y2K visuals, trilingual interface, and existing security model.
## A lighter Home and reusable routes
- Home starts with only about 8 KB containing five update summaries. Full update bodies and unvisited route data are no longer part of its initial data.
- JavaScript for Knowledge, Videos, Resources, Games, and Chat loads on the first entry to each route. Four heavy route styles for Knowledge, Videos, Games, and Chat load on the same demand boundary.
- Module, style, and initialization promises are cached and reused, so returning to a visited route does not download or initialize it again and does not introduce a loading flicker.
## Quick Transfer starts after a real click
- The Quick Transfer loader, CSS, client, UI fragment, and API chain start only after the user actually clicks its resource-card CTA. Before that click there is no complete Transfer DOM, polling, or Transfer API request.
- First load keeps an XP-style progress state and an explicit retryable failure state. If the user leaves Resources during loading, the stale result is discarded and cannot initialize on an inactive route.
- HttpOnly sessions, AES-GCM, upload, and quota boundaries remain unchanged. Visitor content continues to use safe DOM APIs, and all three interface languages remain available.
## Verification boundary
All 97/97 automated tests and the complete build pass, together with all 137/137 exact-viewport and demand-loading Headless Chrome audit checks. No production data was accessed, and nothing was pushed or deployed.
